I stayed in the 'Garden Room', which was more like a huge suite a sofa, small 'walk-in closet' and big double bed. It also had a lovely view. My stay was perfect, the owners were lovely and the breakfast was great. The whole house is lovely decorated with lots of attention to detail. I enjoyed the unexpected luxury during my business trip. -

Staff very helpful allowed us to check-in earlier than stated. We could leave our luggage safe for a few hours after we checked-out. Room had a lovely view and was very comfortable. My first impression before meeting the owners was "gorgeous grounds and magnificent, historic home". Once I met the Clarks, it kept getting better. They could not have been more welcoming. A warm and inviting hotel situated on a bus line to take you to Dundee with 10 minutes. We stayed 2 nights. Our room was clean and had ensuite privileges. Staff were pleasant and accomodating when we showed up a few hours prior to the check in time. The hotel has a lounge/bar area, a sunroom, patio and a restaurant. All meals were fabulous. -
