Ohashiso is a little off the beaten path, but it's in a nice, quiet area with an amazing view of Fuji-san when you walk out the front door.   I did like everything, environment, the house, the facilities, how welcome we felt when we arrived and during the stay... Very good explanation in English, we did enjoy a lot, I wished I could stay longer but have to go back home.... Mr. Hada is very helpfull. It is a real Japanese experience. The bathrooms are are realy nice. Big warm bath tubs (japanese style). The free bicycles (if you stay more than one nigth) are great to explore the biggest lake of the five lakes. The hiking is a real adventure. Lake yamanako gives great views of mount fuji. ZERO-Project Japan guesthouse is a great place to stay!

  The room we stayed in was great along with the communal bathhouse. The staff were very friendly and it was a very clean establishment. Also there is a great Indian restaurant next door. - Lovely people but not much English. Hotel is outside the bus stop.
