  Great ryokan experience. The rooms are impollute, very friendly staff (particularly a woman who is in charge of arranging the rooms and the dinner). Views from the room to the Torii and the bay were outstanding. The dinner was delicious with lots of different Japanese dishes. The private onsen is wonderful. - The dinner in the ryokan was superb.... hva folk sier » I was in the private onsen and it was fine too, with views to the Torii. Miyajima is a very recommended travel destiny, the walk around the town at 10pm with no body in the streets was wonderful.

  The food was spectcular, the service has been perfect, the location is ideal and the rooms are impeccably clean. We have had an amazing time at this Ryokan. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the service couldn't be any better and the food is on its worth the money you pay for your room incl food.   Kikunoya has to be the best hotel we stayed at. The staff could not do enough for us. We were picked up from the ferry although too late for an evening meal they took us down to a restaurant and picked us up again after our meal. We had ordered breakfast and again created a non Japanese beakfast for me. Staff were amazing. - We were met at the F... hva folk sier » erry and driven to the hotel (and back upon departure): a big bonus as the hotel is about 15 to 20 mins walk from the ferry and would be hard to find first time around.. A great welcome, limited English spoken but this presented no issue. WiFi worked fine in room.
