The hotel was in a wonderful location right in the centre of Blois but with easy parking nearby. When we booked, the proprietor sent a personal email welcoming us and this was typical of the whole style of the hotel which was friendly, cheerful and welcoming. The hotel is in an old, very characterful building said to have belonged originally to the Dukes of Guise, and the owners have kept a lot of character while making sure that it is comfortable and modern where it needs to be. The location was great as just few minutes from the rail station. Besides, it was no noise from the out side and very quiet place to stay. I think the hotel has been well refurbished.

very good value for money, close to the city centre - Nice colour scheme of room although the double room for 2 persons ismeant for 1 person. They just added in a bed which makes the room a bitcramped. The coffee cups were real tiny

The great room, modern,stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was not various, but there was enough to eat. The hotel offered tea/coffee for free during the day.
The castle is within 10 minutes walk. There is a rail station near the hotel, but we didn't hear any noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. -

excellant service and value for money. Situated ideal for evening meals - I stayed here twice. The first time I used the automatic check in, it was midnight, very easy. The second was with the attendant, a bit of a sanguage issue. The rooms are very small, but comfortable. But, what more do you need when just blowing through?
