  When I booked this small little hotel I was already so excited, anticipating it to be one of the highlight hotels of our trip to southern France - already bummed that our plans would only let us stay 1 night - it was so like the pictures but much better in person - the attention to detail,the spacious size of the suites, the quality of the fabric... hva folk sier » s, the incredible eclectic collection of art enhancing every space- it is obviously a lifetime passion of theirs and it shows - and best of all they a - I only stayed for a day at the Maison du Frene and wish I could have stayed for a week! The place is magical, pictoresque yet design ... Fun deco, warm staff. The owner is such a fun and welcoming person. You just feel happy to be there. A real treat!
