    Love the Alsace and all the really cute villages that appear to have stopped in time. Colorful, half-timbered medieval houses often with stork nests on top! Lots to do in the region and this hotel is well- located above Ribeauville and its scenic center. Also close to some nice hiking in the area and biking from village to village. Hotel was excel... hva folk sier » lent, with really wonderful food and very accommodating to special dietary needs. Beautiful presentation and very nice family business. We were upgrad - This was our second trip to Clos St Vincent, and we returned because of the great time we had in July. It was actually a spur of the moment decision, due to an open weekend, and no plans. As it turned out, it was a great time to go, and we were fortunate there was a room, as it was the weekend of the Medieval Festival, and we got the only room left, a comfortable family room. We again brought our dogs, and enjoyed walking through the vinyards, now laden with bunches of nearly ripe grapes. Em
