  I love this place. I first came here at the age of six. It has been in the hands of the same family ever since, though ownership is now being transferred to the staff, who are running it as a co-operative. And, if you like swimming, you won’t get better anywhere. Food varies from good to excellent - The hotel's setting with its grounds descending to the lake is sublime and a great place to retreat to. Simple furnished rooms with comfortable beds assured a good night's rest. The dining room has great views and features a triumphant hot drinks machine which strongly resembles a juke box, providing endless entertainment to bemused guests as it shakes and gurgles away merrily while preparing pretty good drinks.   Talloires is an excellent village for a 3-4 day stop close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and provided an excellent recommendation for hikes.The room had a great look over the Annecy lake. The resturant is great. - Locality near to Lake Annecy was excellent.
