  Very smart clean apartment for our group of six in a beautiful place. Small, quiet development in attractive residential area. We traveled to Annecy by train and were able to do lots without a car. Gilles picked us up at the bus stop with our bags and helped us settle in. Sevrier is on West side of the lake, on bus and cycle routes, with amazing v... hva folk sier » iews. Just far enough from Annecy to be away from the crowds, but with 2 supermarkets, sports shop, cycle hire and bell museum a short walk away. We - Marc (the caretaker?) was kind and helpful. We traveled with 6 people (12 years old to 76) so we needed a small kitchen for breakfasts and light dinners, laundry facilities, plenty of hot water for showers, a parking space (which was free), close to Annecy and the walking/biking trails, close to a grocery store. All our needs were met and the price was fair. We also enjoyed the patio.

  The food was absolutely amazing! Possibly the best food I have ever eaten! Lots of information was provided at the hotel and the staff was very friendly and eager to help. The room was very clean and nice. We enjoyed the nice, warm bathtub. The balcony and view was also very nice--although it was a little too cold to enjoy these. Again, I canno... hva folk sier » t say enough how amazing the food was--delicious! The location of the hotel is perfect--slightly off the beaten path. We would love to stay here again - Although the owners had not taken account of our prior request for all single beds in 4 different rooms, they reacted immediately on arrival to sort things out, which was impressive. Rooms do vary in quality and size, but a good location, we went with half board which gave us good basic (cycling) food for dinner
