The location in the centre of the Beaujolais area was perfect for touring around, lovely countryside to explore as long as you have a car. Only about an hour from Lyon airport. The place is really quite comfortable to relax and have quiet days. The renovation of the castle was very good and the decoration superb. However, even if the village (with restaurants) is not far you cannot avoid to use your car every day. Lauren, the owner, was very kind and the breakfast was great.

A superb property in a wonderful position, completely surrounded by vineyards. Great views. Being there during vintage added to the experience. Host Thibault went to great lengths to make our stay memorable, giving advice on local places to visit and assisting with our luggage. Our rooms (Coco) excellently appointed as was the rest of the property. Antique furniture, paintings and wall hangings belonging to the family added to the overall appeal. A stay we wont forget.
