  1. Well design and decorated rooms. Felt like stayed in Elle Deco room ... 2. Extremely well presented breakfast setting, healthy selections. 3. For an Asian traveller, it was an extremely delighted experience a French Noble life for 1/2 day. 4. Hope there are other things to do in the town other than Notre Dame de Haut and Monastery of Claris... hva folk sier » ses.... Something like gardening SPA, country side tea house or something .... - The house itself was just beautiful- filled with interesting antiques and decor. Our host couldn't have been more gracious. He thought of many little luxuries, such as terry robes in the bathroom. The breakfast was wonderful. Cheese, fruit, ham, yogurt, pastries, etc. More than we could possibly eat. The garden was gorgeous and very well tended. It would be a lovely place for a wedding reception.

  Everything - this hotel was meticulously maintained. The Proprietor and Staff were friendly and though they were not fluent in English, it was better than our French! and everyone tried very hadr to be helpful to us, particularly over the menus which were extensive. Best nights sleep we had had in days. The Hotel was much better equipped and f... hva folk sier » urnished to a higher standard than many 3/4 star hotels. - The staff in the hotel is a nice person!!! He drove us to the chapel, when he heard that we must walk to the chapel. The room is good.

  We went for the sole purpose of seeing Notre Dame du Haut in neighboring Ronchamp. I tried to book a hotel in Ronchamp, but there were none available, so I booked at Chateau de la Houillere. Christophe, the owner, could not have been nicer. When I asked him about getting a taxi, he said that he would pick us up from the train station, which he did... hva folk sier » . He also drove us into town for dinner, and picked us up when we we done. The next day he drove us to the chapel, and when we were done visiting, he - The proprietor was completely pleasant, solititous, and helpful. He got me a table at the restaurant in the village then drove me there, and even took me to a patisserie before dropping me at the LeCorbusier chapel in the morning. Must also add that he was highly attentive and answered every question I could ask. Highly accomodating. The house and grounds were truly beautiful, charming and relaxing.
