  good kitchen facilities, own patio area neatly planted so you were not looking at a blank wall. Facilities a bit limited if a family but all we needed. Need to have a car to get out and about.   Among the 5 hotels that I stayed during my trip in Europe, this was thebest, despite the fact that all the others were 3 or 4 star hotels. Thishotel definetely misses at least a star.   We are a family of 4 and booked the quad room. It was fantastic, a separate room for the children with their own tv!! Large clean bathroom with shower and large balcony with an amazing view across the town to the castle in Saumur. We only had a stop over on our way South but still managed to spend most of our time in the pool!! Dinner & breakf... hva folk sier » ast were both served on the terrace by the pool and the food was great. - We stayed here last year on our way home from holiday and enjoyed it so much decided to come back,it did not disappoint, the staff are very friendly, the receptionist even recognized us from last year. We had a studio this year which was very roomy with a little kitchenette with fridge which was very handy, the food is beautifully cooked & presented. We will be coming back next year.

  Recently refurbished. Room was smart with excellent en-suite. Restaurant food was very good and good value too. Breakfast excellent at only €7.5 Staff friendly. - The hotel is within easy walking distance of the station. The staff were wonderful. The room was clean and well organised.

  It is very special to be able to stay at the stunning Chateau des Briottieres which has a great personal feel because the owner, M. de Valbray and his family are the sixth generation to still live there. The chateau and its out buildings are beautifully decorated and well maintained on a glorious piece of parklike property. There are many chateaux and sites to visit in the area. - A beautiful castle with nice grounds. The family owners are actively engaged in the running of the house. We had dinner in the evening with good food and wine. Breakfast was pleasant with delicious homemade jam. The main house had two sitting rooms open to guests (one with a log fire) and a library with billiard table. Our room was in the Orangerie, which also had a comfortable, communal seating area. We borrowed bicycles and explored the grounds.

  My self and family stayed in this great hotel,the room was very clean,the swimming pool was fantastic .We had a meal in the hotel it was fantastic ,we have never had such amazing food and wine the staff were so friendly ,we are planning our next trip to the hotel and we will be taking friends. - All people very helpful and friendly.
