Just like the other remarks about this hotel said, this is a great hotel to stay, easy to find and drive to Amboise from. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful, the room well appointed if a bit on the small side, the hotel itself charming, and the food, though a trifle expensive, was amazing and beautifully served. The staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and spoke excellent english. Unfortunately I only had time to have 1 dinner at the restaurant and it was magnificent - worthy of the visit by itself. The breakfasts were sumptuous too, especially the option of a cooked breakfast rather than the staples of bread, meats and cheese.
