  L'Oree is a beautiful, modern b'n'b located in the countryside just outside Giverny. It is a 2 minute drive to Monet sites and 5 minutes to Vernon. M and M Werth are the owners; very accommodating. Would definitely stay th - L'Oree de Giverny was a lovely B&B minutes from Monet's gardens in Giverny. Located by fast flowing river, we enjoyed the quiet and privacy. The village of Giverny can be very crowded during the day. We had a large bedroom and bath, with all the comforts of home. Our hosts the Werth's were very helpful and gave us good advice as to visiting the area and fixed a decious breakfast that featued local food. Visiting gardens was very special and our stay at L'Oree de Givery equally special!

  We had one of the cheapest rooms in the chateau but it was beautifully furnished with quality touches like the enormous bath and luxurious bath robes. Behind the electric gates and the large gardens it was a tranquil place to stay. Really enjoyed it. - Staying in a historic chateau was so wonderful!   The hotel was wonderful! Very nice room - much larger than we expected. Excellent bathroom - shower and a nice soaking tub for long days walking in Paris. Super comfy bed and very quiet room (I am a very light sleeper and never heard a sound!). But the best part of the hotel was Vincent (sp?) - he was amazing with great suggestions and even was ab... hva folk sier » le to help us get tickets to the eiffel tower when it was supposedly sold out!! We would most definitely stay there again the next time we are in Pari - Excellent boutique hotel in the most central Paris area! The staff was more than helpfull and kind and they all could speak english, which is a rare thing in France. The hotel was also surprisingly very clean, another rare thing in Paris specifically. The location has also been extremely convenient, everything was on walking distance and we didn't had to get any other transport mean. We will definately choose this hotel again if returning to Paris.

  The staff is excellent. They are friendly, competent, and also speak English well for those of us that are not that skilled in French. The location is perfect, and also quiet. The deluxe double room we stayed in was lovely and had a very comfortable washroom and shower. Daily turndown service was an added and unexpected bonus.
