  The room is clean and located centrally. It is right next to Tauzia tram station and a few minutes away from Gare St. Jean main train station, both pretty much get you to anywhere in Bordeaux and around. - This hotel was most adequate. We enjoyed our stay and all was fine. We only stayed the one night. Dave Hurley

  We loved everything about the room. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was large and had a large walk in shower. Our hosts were very accommodating and kind to us trying to speak to them in French. It is a bit difficult to find. Suggest to use the GPS coordinates to locate.   For my business trip, the location was perfect: close enough to the University of Bordeaux II Segalen. It was very easy to get there from the train station by the two trams (C and A) which goes through the old city. The tram stop is very close to the hotel. The hotel is staffed 24h a day. - Overall we really liked our stay here. It's a very simple hotel, but has modern design, is well-maintained and everyone is friendly. Breakfast was great, very complete. The location is quite good, it's in a calm part of the town (at least in August) and within walking distance to the center. The car park was also very convenient and reasonably priced. Having free gummies and water in our room, plus croissants and coffee, was a nice touch!

  Let's face it, Bordeaux and Saint Emilion accommodation is very expensive and as we had a car, we did not want to pay to park. Location of this B&B Chateau is perfect ONLY if you have a car as it's right in the countryside with surrounding vineyards and cute little french towns. Despite the language barrier, we had a lovely time with him laying out - Alain is a wonderful host, and provided us with a very comfy room, real French breakfast, and totally helpful to any of our requests. The place is so quiet, with views over the vineyards from the bedroom. A very authentic French stone house with exquisite pieces of furniture. Alain gave us tips and hints about the area, and provided us with a nice tea on the sunny terrace when we arrived. A must stay in if you are in the area !

  They accepted dogs and went out of their way to help us with items we needed for a 3 month old baby.   Owner was very accommodating, friendly and made sure that Le Commanderie was well appointed with amenities, comfortable beds, WiFi, TV and stylish furnishings. Loved the room and bathroom layout. Location was very central in St Emilion and parking was beside the B&B. Would stay here again and recommend it! - We loved every moment of our stay at the Maison de la Commanderie in St. Emilion. Our host, Laurent, was wonderful. He provided a wonderful home cooked breakfast served family style. He called a cab service to bring us to the train. He definitely paid attention to every detail about his establishment. The room was spacious and state of the art (iPod speaker system, flat screen TV, fabulous shower with spray jets) with magnificent views of the town and countryside.
