This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. In 2012 it was undergoing refurbishment. The refurbishment is now complete and has been done to a good and tasteful standard.

I stayed on the 1st floor which had a balcony overlooking the river [recommended]. This is a family run hotel and they make you feel very welcome. Room was very comfortable and clean with a/c. Only pizza served in the restaurant but if you like pizza...they are very good!

The room was simple, but had everything we needed. The location was rural but easy to find. Meals were delicious, beautifully presented and very reasonable using very fresh produce from the gardens, including the jams served for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful -
