What a wonderful place. All the staff were incredibly charming and helpful. The hotel isn't in St Paul but it's only 5 minutes walk (which is quite useful when working off dinner!). we stayed in room 18 which is a suite with a terrace and was a good sized, comfortable room and great to have a drink on the terrace. the general feel of the place is a relaxing hamlet. it was very peaceful. the service and general facilities are a good 3/4 star and not as stuffy as some 5star places are. parking is good and it is a ten minute walk to St. Paul but there is a good 'locals' restaurant 5 minutes away.

We loved the peaceful setting of this beautiful hotel, and the helpful friendliness of the family who own it. They welcome guests' pets, and have several of their own. The breakfasts are excellent, and the pool really prettily laid out. Our room, no 14, was large and comfortable, with a balcony looking out over fields and a vineyard. There is a 20 minute walk into the village for main meals, but this is via quiet roads....and downhill on the way there at least!

The historic part of Villeneuve-Loubet is small but pretty nice and an easy walk for having dinner or buying bread early morning. It was a little pricy, but you get everything you pay for......and that is a good thing. It is a wonderful place and Patricia, her sister Marine and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating. It only has 6 rooms and offers extremely private dining with the utmost personal of touches.
