  This was our second time at Villa Josephine within a three week period. That's how much we enjoyed the area,. The owners are very welcoming and gracious This is a slice of Provence. Lovely grounds, pool and hot tub. Good Internet. Breakfast is included which consists of fresh fruit,juice, croissant, jams coffee.Classic French Breakfast Bed i... hva folk sier » s very comfortable. The Owner Jean Noel cooked dinner for us two nights and it was excellent. He owns a few restaurants so he knows his way aroun - Loved pretty much everything about the place. The breakfast was lovely, we thoroughly enjoyed getting to sit out on the terrace each morning in the sunshine. The bedrooms were lovely, nice modern decoration and very clean. The couple running the place were really helpful and very kind. The best bit about the place was the dinner! We waited till the last night to have dinner in the villa and it was amazing. Beautiful cheese filo to start, wonderful lamb shanks for the main and a chocolate desser

  L'Enclos is a lovely early 19th century town house with a double stone staircase to the living level. It has generous size rooms, high ceilings and elegant sweeping staircase up 2 floors. The rooms are a combination of antique furniture, interesting art and very clever modern lighting, it works well. Michel is an architect, he and Collett have a v... hva folk sier » ery good eye. Our bedroom was large and well lit, the bed was standard size but there was a 2nd room with a single bed which we found useful. Generous - We had an amazing time with Collette and Michel who are the most welcoming hosts we have stayed with. Their house is beautiful and the views from the terrace are all you could wish for. They were incredibly helpful and made our stay entirely memorable. We would definitely think about staying with them again and would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone wanting to visit this area.

  My traveling partner, Ann, was on business. I got to tag along with her. We both had an amazing experience at Chez Bruno. We were fortunate to be able to stay there for two nights and we also took part in a cooking class with Benjamin Bruno. Even though this venue may not be classed as a "castle" we both felt like queens. Both the Bruno boys, ... hva folk sier » Benjamin, the chef, and Samuel, the maitre d, were beyond professional, friendly, hospitable and courteous. All of the staff were excellent. Gerard w - Benjamin Bruno and his team understand hospitality.. and gourmet dining. They really went the extra distance to make our short overnight stay feel special, something that you can only expect these days from a well run family business such as theirs. It literally felt like we were a guest in his home. A perfect rustic location to explore the mountains, lakes, countryside and coastline between Aix to the west and Nice to the east, both a relatively short hop via the A8 highway/autoroute.
