  I liked the whole atmosphere of the hotel, both inside and out, and its very convenient location en centre ville. The bedroom was spacious and had everything I wanted - except, perhaps a tiny fridge for keeping cold drinks. The staff were very helpful and efficient. I cannot comment on meals generally, as I only had breakfast there. The gardens are lovely and being able to have dinner on the terrace was divine. The staff were excellent and would highly recommend if you are staying in Laval

  The whole ambience. It was like being a family member. We stayed in the manoir itself in a room up a stone spiral staircase. The bathroom was small and, as described elsewhere, like a plastic pod, but it served its purpose and we don't spend much time in the bathroom! The building and grounds were magical for anyone with a sense and appreciation of history. The food was prepared by Natali - An excellent place to stay - definitely would recommend it! Really friendly staff, delicious home-cooked meal in the evening followed by another delicious breakfast the following day! A lovely setting within an easy 5 minute drive into the centre of the medieval town of Laval.

  Staff were very helpful. Also very biker friendly with excellent bike shop opposite. Worked our excellently since we needed spares which did not expect to find so easily. Real bonus. - Basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly but check in was via a machine which dispensed the keys. Easy to find and good parking
