Room and bathroom was clean. The location couldn't be more central. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Accessible 24/7 and the reception was always manned. And the best steak restaurant (L'entrecote) was only 3 minutes walk away. -

It is advertised as a 2 star Hotel, and that is precisely correct. This is a very good tourist class hotel. It is ideally situated for seeing Bordeaux, and represents excellent value for money. 1) the hotel is very close to the rail station St.Jean, so you don`t have to carry a heavy suitcase and take any taxi (2 minutes on foot and you`re in the hotel)
2) Close to the city centre (7-10 minutes by tram or 30-40 minutes walk along a very nice river La Garonne)
3) Close to the supermarket Carrefour and different cafes
