It is close to sightseeing and shopping areas. - prime location to go about the city for shopping (at the printemps and the lafayettes) and sight seeing (being only 2 blocks away from the metro station Madeleine). grocery store just a minute walk from the hotel. excellent staff, very helpful and friendly and having them there definitely makes me want to return to this boutique hotel on next visit.

  The Location which central to tourist sites + the cleanliness of the room - The location was fantastic, the Scribe is an excellent hotel with very polite staff. The cleaniness of the rooms was very good and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

  Hotel is in a great location, the rooms are large (especially the bathroom) and quiet, service is great - the staff is very helpful. - Clean room, comfortable bed. Attentiveness of the hotel staff. Great restaurant. Quiet even though it's close to the busy street.

  I enjoyed the size of the rooms and the quietness of the hotel. We did look at several rooms before we made our choice, and the rooms do vary in size and situation. It is quite a big complex. The staff were outstanding, and the location of the hotel excellent.   We enjoyed the lovely decor, comfortable bed and nicely-sized room (recommend the Supreme). The hotel is in a lovely part of the city, very near La Madeleine as well as several designer shops. It is off the beaten path just enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly and accommodating. Fine wine, scrumptious veal and the best crème - The staff were awesome and was always willing to assist us despite the time. I arrived pretty late and they organized a perfect resaurant for us which was fabulous. Typical french restaurant( Tante Louise). If you would like to economise, you probably check another one. I will definately visit it again. What I really appreciated was allowing me to keep my suitcases at the hotel for approximately 3 hrs despite that I had already chech out.
