The hotel is really good location to walk from as a base. The area was good. Whilst the hotel is not on the prettiest street, it's only a couple of streets away from lots of good restaurants, shops and cafés and is literally at the exit to the station. You cannot get lost. Fantastic location within easy walking distance to the Pompidou, Louvre, Notre Dame and all the restaurants and bars in the Latin Quarter. I was on my own, going out every night and felt perfectly safe walking the streets back late. The hotel is surrounded by cafes and bars perfect for breakfast or dinner if you werent up for straying too far after a full day of exploring the city. The staff were lovely even the poor night staff who had to come down from reception late every night to let me in.

Everything, the hotel and location are perfect, the staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. - It's a very well located hotel near the metro and bus stations, in a good and safe neighbourhood. The metro line taking me to the hotel is the same crossing the main touristic destinations. The staff is nice and helpful, always receiving guests kindly.

This hotel gives you exactly what you pay for. If you want to spend a lot of your holiday in your hotel room, I would not recommend it. However, if it is a place to rest your head on a budget, then it is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful and are happy to communicate in English. I could not fault this hotel. It was great value for Paris. It's not luxury, but it had everything I needed. The water was always hot. The room was well heated. Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent location - 5 minute walk to the Metro and surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. The staff were helpful and pleasant. -
