  We had been robbed leaving Barcelona and were very upset. We arrived very late in the evening at Mas de la Chapelle and not only was the owner a wonderful host, but the place proved to be a sanctuary away from the city.   Sentralt. - We were booked into the Best Western at Arles but when we arrived, they could not accommodate us as there was a noise problem in several of the rooms. The hotel redirected us to another hotel, the New Hotel, less than half a mile away at exactly the same price.The New Hotel was excellent and we thoroughly recommend it.   We were pleasantly surprised with the helpful and exceptionally friendly staff. One arranged a horse ride excursion for us, helping us navigate around weather issues.   It's close to the centre but on the opposite side of the river: this means it's still quiet day and night. The pool was wonderful, towels provided, during the very hot afternoons. Breakfast rather pricey but pleasant out in the garden. - Easy walking access to the old city. Quiet location.

  This was such a wonderful surprise. The thoughtfulness of decoration, the enormity of the room just made us feel so lucky and smug. Everyone loves to feel spoilt on holidays and carried away by a bit of localised fantasy - this place did those things so beautifully. The huge entry space downstairs made storing our touring bikes a non-issue. Nearby little cafes were better than the 'touris - Very nice in all respects especially if you like it a bit of the genuine old-fashioned. Good taste.Host and hostess most charming. Breakfast as you like it. Nice part of town inside the city walls close to the river. A little bit off all the other tourists but only a short walk to all the places you have to visit.

  This B&B is a great place to stay for your visit of Arles and of its region. The house is huge, elegant but intimate at the same time and well located in a nice spot in the centre of the city. There are just three rooms for guests and they are really big, clean, and comfortable. The room was a lovely size, the bathroom very big. The bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast with home-made jams was delicious. O Ange is very near some excellent restaurants and Georges and Emmanuelle have great local knowledge about where to go to eat, where to visit

Water pressure was good, lots of hot water but occasional cold spurt. Soap provided. T - I felt like a Borgia princess in this wonderful hotel. Steps from the place du forum and van googn's night cafe painting spot, it is quiet and calm. You can hear the birds sing. The pool looks gorgeous but too rainy and cold when I was there. Good wifi, they will make a cup of tea or a nice port at the bar. Very nice staff. So atmospheric and generous breakfast! I hated to leave.
