  Everything was just perfect!!!! The room...the breakfast....the host & hostess.... the location... just heaven. Second time in Douai but this stay made me fall in love with the town. - Great hospitality from hosts; elegant large, high ceilinged room with extensive TV channel choices; friendly dogs

  This address is a gem. Warm welcome in a beautiful family-owned and run historic house, very central location. The rooms are lovely; each has a theme. Mine was 'Romantic'. decorated in that style, including period reading matter! Modern bathroom and very comfortable mattress. I cannot say enough positive things about my stay! For example,I thoroughly e - We liked the character and charm of the building.It was spotlessly clean,and the bedroom was very comfortable with a lovely view over the garden.Breakfast was very adeqate and typically French.The proprietor was courteous and endevoured to speak to us in English.Also very convenient for sightseeing and restaurants.
