Despite negative comments from other travellers we found the breakfast was not exactly cheap but reflective of prices in Biarritz. The breakfast was goo in our opinion.   This is a lovely hotel set about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Biarritz. It is tastefully decorated in a contemporary but comfortable style and is beautifully clean and tidy throughout. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, speak good English and gave us helpful advice about Biarritz and the surround - Comfortable bed, fridge in room, the best shower I've ever had in a hotel. The hotel is located just outside of the center of the city so you can park on the street for free but still walk into town in 5-10 minutes.

  The owners of Le Gamaritz were extremely friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations for restaurants and places to go. The accommodation was comfortable. We stayed in a family room which had a double bed and 2 pull out beds which were actually really comfortable. We didn't get the breakfast as we preferred to wander round to coffee shops. Overall we loved the ho - We love the location by the small beach and the convenience to bars and restaurants. The rooms are tiny but always super clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is now available onsite but we venture out to the local cafe instead.
