  The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to look after us. The hotel itself was picture perfect, nestled along a quaint street just yards away from the magnificent cathedral. The location was central to town, and parking was really convenient. The hotel is small, and I guess that's why it's only a 2 star hotel - though it feels more like... hva folk sier » a 3. Rooms - very comfortable and perfectly formed. - The staff went out of their way to help us with a rental car problem and were very friendly and accommodating with respect to all other matters. The restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the River Aure right behind the rooms in the annex.

  The staff was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, cleans and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was also a good size. - The Hotel was very intimate and the staff was very helpful.

  The hotel was fresh, clean and new with efficient friendly staff at a brilliant budget price. The room was spotless with comfy beds which were cleaned and made up despite us only staying 2 nights. The layout of the room was very clever and made excellent use of the space making the room feel bigger despite a double, single bunk and cot being prese... hva folk sier » nt. - It was a great place to stay for what we needed and staff was very friendly and helpful, price was right, our only complaint was that we didn't realize it was out of Bayeux approx. 4Kms and we didn't have a rental car (and there weren't any to rent in town) so we needed to taxi everywhere and that got a bit pricey.

  The food was excellent. We also had a special request due to unforeseen circumstances to slightly extend the time to vacate one of the rooms which was dealt with in a thoroughly sympathetic and helpful manner, for which we are very grateful. - Great place for a family, room was spacious and clean.Would highly recommend.Staff was polite and helpful.

  The hotel was well located for the sites we wanted to see. It was comfortable and had plenty of parking spaces. We were pleased with the hotel and the restaurant. - The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room clean and comfortable and the location is easily accessible by car and in walking distance to the city centre.

  Hotel was easy to get to. The staff was excellent both at the front desk and the support staff. Everyone spoke english . The front desk was extremely helpful with places to dine , sights, and shopping. Very friendly. Room was very comfortable and quiet. - laundry even though i didnt get a chance to use the facility

  An excellent short stay holiday, the setting of the Chateau was idealic, staff were very helpful and welcoming. The walk to Bayeux was approx 15-20 minutes along residential roads, so whilst not suitable for those who are unable to walk this distance, for us it was part of the charm of the holiday. The choice of restaurants within Bayeux is excelle... hva folk sier » nt, and there are plenty of places to see. - The chateau was absolutely beautiful - from the front and back gardens; the breakfast room and food; the bedroom was well-designed, bright and clean; the bathroom was modern and very clean -- and the staff were hospitable and friendly. The surrounding pond even had graceful swans and the cutest ducklings!
