  Autour Du Paradis is indeed a little paradise tucked away in a narrow cobbled street and very central to everything, shops, food markets and the sights. We had the top floor apartment which was lovely, quite large and tastefully decorated with a view over the rooftops and courtyard. Sabine was very helpful and spoke good English which was a bonus and we were especially grateful that they went o - These apartments are superb. Easy of access - just minutes from Avignon Centre train station by foot and even closer from nearby parking stations. Clean, comfortable and the 1 bedroom apartment I stayed in had plenty of room. The central courtyard was an oasis of peace and although you are just a 5 minute walk from the centre of town you are well-insulated from the daily hubbub. Central train station and tgv shuttle bus also within 10 min walk - very convenient if you plan to take day trips to other places. Outside festival time this is a very quite area of town - Lovely helpful staff in reception. Simple self service accommodation. Small kitchenette with kettle, coffee maker, electric hob, microwave and fridge. Warm (our visit was during cold weather). Comfy bed. Local shops for groceries and meals. If you want service (we didn't) then don't stay here. If you want a comfortable, clean, simple, base for exploring Avignon and its environs for a few days it's secure, convenient and good value.
