Central train station and tgv shuttle bus also within 10 min walk - very convenient if you plan to take day trips to other places. Outside festival time this is a very quite area of town - Lovely helpful staff in reception. Simple self service accommodation. Small kitchenette with kettle, coffee maker, electric hob, microwave and fridge. Warm (our visit was during cold weather). Comfy bed. Local shops for groceries and meals. If you want service (we didn't) then don't stay here. If you want a comfortable, clean, simple, base for exploring Avignon and its environs for a few days it's secure, convenient and good value.

  We had a wonderful stay at Residence 5 Epi. The apartments were clean and comfortable and easy walking distance to city center and train station. The proprietors went out of their way to help us and were very friendly.
