  I liked the tranquillity of a hotel which was set so centrally. It was lovely to come back and sit in the garden of an afternoon. Also it was so convenient for the railway and bus services but as well as having access to everything locally (the Rhone just a stone's throw away).   We enjoyed the unique experience of living on a boat for a few days. It was a new experience for us and certainly made our trip to France more memorable. It was great watching the rowers go by and we found we were well situated to see the Pont Du Avignon and were close to the old city. Its moored just upstream of the famous bridge at Avignon, but is completely secluded with a pool, hammocks and recliners on deck which you can use during the day if you wish. Breakfasts are superb and taken on deck; the staff couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommended!

  The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location, across the road from the Old City walls and bus stop which goes to the TGV station. The regional train station is a very short walk. The room was very modern, clean and a good size.
