  Made very welcome by the manager. We started to converse in French but she spoke good English. We arrived quite late but she made sure that we had an excellent meal.   We chose to eat at the refuge. We shared a table with the other guests and our host who cooked the meal. Food was excellent - very good value and we enjoyed the French conversation. It was also also vary peaceful as we didn't hear a sound overnight.
