  Very friendly staff and service with lots of smiles. The room was large and comfortable and we had been upgraded so had a balcony overlooking Place de Jaude and the restaurant/bar below the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and the bar very good. We ordered two glasses only of a Bordeaux and the waiter poured them from the bottle at the table. Very ... hva folk sier » impressive. - Hotel Lyon is located in a perfect location at Place de Jaude. This is the center of Clermont-Ferrand with immediate access to restaurants and shopping. We lived in Clermont-Ferrand for 2 years, so on this return vacation trip, we had a very good idea of where we wanted to stay and different hotel options available.
