  The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is just 2 blocks from the ferry port so if your stuck like we were in leaving the car on the main land you can walk leisurely. This hotel had us a wheelchair to use which saved our vacation since the ferry service is inadequate - The staff was welcoming. They could not do enough for you. The rooms wer... wat mensen zeggen » e immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. The healthclub was well equipped and the spa facilities were topnotch! I will definitely stay there again when I go to Martha's Vineyard.

  Thorncroft Inn is a gracious, cozy, and quiet getaway inn. It's location in wooded acreage is in sidewalk-walking distance to shops, restaurants and docks of Vineyard Haven. We enjoyed a detailed written tour guide of the island composed and provided by the innkeeper, Karl. Loved "The Black Dog Tavern" for good food on the harbor. Lovely (2) day ... wat mensen zeggen » stay. Would go back anytime. Linda & John, Pottstown, PA - We absolutely enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Thorncroft Inn. It was quite a peaceful and relaxing experience. I am personally very picky about hotels /inns to the point I usually bring sheets and towels. To my surprise, I felt so comfortable with the feeling of cleanliness that I did not have to use them. The service was exceptional. Kudos to Lynn and Carl!
