  The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is just 2 blocks from the ferry port so if your stuck like we were in leaving the car on the main land you can walk leisurely. This hotel had us a wheelchair to use which saved our vacation since the ferry service is inadequate - The staff was welcoming. They could not do enough for you. I will definitely stay there again when I go to Martha's Vineyard.

  Thorncroft Inn is a gracious, cozy, and quiet getaway inn. It's location in wooded acreage is in sidewalk-walking distance to shops, restaurants and docks of Vineyard Haven. We enjoyed a detailed written tour guide of the island composed and provided by the innkeeper, Karl. Loved "The Black Dog Tavern" for good food on the harbor. Lovely (2) day ... 别人怎么说 » stay. Would go back anytime. Linda & John, Pottstown, PA - We absolutely enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Thorncroft Inn. It was quite a peaceful and relaxing experience. I am personally very picky about hotels /inns to the point I usually bring sheets and towels. To my surprise, I felt so comfortable with the feeling of cleanliness that I did not have to use them. The service was exceptional. Kudos to Lynn and Carl!
