Very clean and well maintained room and hotel grounds. Loved free WiFi
and Internet access. Loved free parking, free bicycle loaners, two
pools/saunas. Playground across the street. Lots of markets, coffee
shops and misc. Stores nearby, very convenient. The staff was 100%
awesome! The views spectacular and the surrounding area felt very safe.

Great location for sea world visit.
There was a problem at our initial check in which wasn't good. However I have to say that the manageress stepped in and resolved the matter with a real customer focus in trying to ensure we had a good stay. For me this is when a hotels reputation stands or falls in how they go about resolving problems. Staff were a credit to the company and I would def recommend to others

All the staff were extremely friendly. I was nicely surprised when they
advised me at check in that they had upgraded me to an executive suite
for the same price. Cute bar and nice location in Del Mar, an easy walk
to the Village. The rooms were very spacious. No extra charge for
parking or WiFi. -

We were pleasantly surprised to find the location was within walking
distance to Belmont Park. We were also able to rent bikes and cruise the
boardwalk as well as the bay. We rented a kayak and tootled around the
bay. The room was comfortable and quiet. At check in, the clerk gave us

good food and the prices were reasonable-not super cheap, but not
highway robbery either. All in all, it was a great trip. -
Loved the location, easy to get to the Zoo and Seaworld. Pool area and spa was fantastic, quiet place to relax and enjoy a drink while the kids are in the pool!! Room lovely and great having the separate lounge area. We have been travelling around California for the last few weeks from New Zealand and this hotel is voted the kid's favourite so far!!

The size of this resort hotel was much larger than I expected with a lot of nice amenities (restaurants, etc.) on grounds that we did not use (but would in the future). It was a very nice hotel. And so beautiful! We lived in a room with to large queen size. It was very spacious and a bit old fashioned. But in a good way. It was close to a big mall, which we really approved. We didn't have breakfast included, but there is a nice café in the area (the hotel is in a very big area and has a lot of rooms all over the place) that had good sandwiches and Starbuck coffee.

The room we were given was 301 which is on the corner of the building so we got two windows to see the beach! We had booked an ocean view room and the view from our balcony was of Scripps park, a cave, the beach and all the silly sea lions and pelicans. The location couldn't have been better; I liked that they had a
ready supply of fresh coffee in the lobby and that they had bathrooms on
a couple of floors so we didn't have to go all the way back to the
room if we were already out; the balcony and view were all they promised
and the beds were comfortable and clean. They held our bags for us
before and after check out and that is big plus for us. We had a
wonderful time and will definitely stay there again soon and probably
for years to come.

Convenient location, friendly staff at checkin, nightly security guard
on duty. Although an older buiilding, 2nd floor non-smoking room was
clean and acceptable. New windows eliminated noise. Bed was very
comfortable! Free breakfast was typical "continental style" -
coffee, juices, cereal, toast, muffins. An excellent bargain hotel! -

... wat mensen zeggen » ved in my room, the refridgerator didn't work well. I called the front desk to report it, and the maintainance man was there w/in minutes, but it still didn't work well. The following day, the day shift person came and replaced the temp gauge, and it worked just fine. I would stay there again.
