Convenient location, friendly staff at checkin, nightly security guard on duty. Although an older buiilding, 2nd floor non-smoking room was clean and acceptable. New windows eliminated noise. Bed was very comfortable! Free breakfast was typical "continental style" - coffee, juices, cereal, toast, muffins. An excellent bargain hotel!. When I arrived in my room, the refridgerator didn't work well. I called the front desk to report it, and the maintainance man was there w/in minutes, but it still didn't work well. The following day, the day shift person came and replaced the temp gauge, and it worked just fine. I would stay there again.
alle beoordelingen » Hotel was located close to the zoo and easily accessible. The cost was very reasonable for the area. Free parking and other normal amenities were available. Although close to freeway, noise was not a problem. Room was clean. The room was clean, it was a good size for 2 small kids and 2 adults. It had a table and chair area which was nice for eating. Fridge and microwave. Nice drawer space. I would definetly stay here again. good location, free parking, free internet, free breakfast, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, good value for money, fast check-in/check-out. I liked that it had a refridgerator and microwave in the room. And it was very reasonably priced. Everything you need in the room, free internet and super breakfast. Very close to everything of interest regarding family or couples. They fix what we asked to fix Bed Space Microwave Ref Comfy bed. It was perfect for our needs. Clean and comfortable. Very good location and convenient for me. Nice breakfast free of charge. Clean Good Location. Close to facilities. The front desk person was exceptionally friendly and helpful in attempting to resolve a technical problem with the wi-fi connection. He also went out of his way to be helpful in securing our boarding passes for our trip home. The elevator to 2nd floor was much appreciated!. location was perfect. close to light rail train station. lots of other things in the area. easy to get to driving from out of town. The staff was friendly and where the hotel is located was conveniently close to the downtown area. Close to public transportation, you can take the bus to Old Town where the metro is. Right off the highway. Close to lots of places to eat. The the rooms were good size the restrooms were OK. It was convient to the beach and sea world. in the middle of attractions. It was cheap, rooms were ok. Convenient location. location, price. location. I loved the location and the ease of getting to anywhere in San Diego. Area is nice and easy access to beach, shopping, Qualcomm. Etc. We love the San Diego area, and will absolutely visit again, but we WILL NOT stay at this hotel or recommend this hotel to others. Apart from being unclean and old, the bed was at least comfortable. The staff was friendly after they figured out my booking. Rooms, beds, restrooms very run down I would suggest all rooms are inspected be letsbookhotel.com. Not worth the money. For as old and run down as the hotel/rooms were...at least I didn't see any rodents or bugs. Breakfast muffins were very good...location... Low price... There was a security guard stationed in the parking lot so I felt my car was safe and there were not people up late and making noise. Not much, breakfast was ok, cleaners efficient. Not much!!! I was in the back end of the hotel, and the walk was long, and the walkway was on a slant. Could have been the building settling after all these years, or residue from a former earthquake, but, it worked out in the end. Room was small. The hotel is older and could use some updating. The air conditioner and fridge did not work well. We didnt use the pool but it was literally in the parking lot so i dont think we would have used it. There aren't any stores close at all so if you need food or toiletries or a missing pacifier, you'll have to google or mapquest your way about 2 miles to the nearest store. only some minor issues -- sofa fabric in my room was damaged, internet was a bit slow in the evening. The couch had stains on it so that was a little unappealing. Bad public transport to/from the hotel (the last bus to the hotel is around 8pm and there is no service on Sunday). Or the service was not working. I was given user name and password, but their system did not work. I had no access to internet at all during my stay. Not renewed. The room (carpet) had an unusual odor which took awhile to dissipate. The 'breakfast' was really just a continental breakfast of basics. It should be renamed correctly in your amenities description. The structure is older and could use some repairs and/or upgrading. right next to I-8 & the traffic noise was bad. room was exceptionally small. towels were threadbare. breakfast was the usual muffins/danish/cold cereal. I didn't like that the room had dirty looking walls. It seemed like it was half clean even though it was decent to sleep. Maybe it was because the rates were jacked up for Comic-Con, but the room was WAY too expensive. This place is really only a step or two above a motel six. No crib for our daughter. Tight fit in the room due to the king size bed. Shower head was too low for my fiance' and I, so we had to bend way over to wash our hair. we found condoms in the room we requested a crib but on the first night we got there around nine and we and the janitors were already gone so the crib room was locked and we didn't get one. Over priced for the accommodations. Room was very small and compact. No free wi-fi as stated. There internet access was not working. I was very disappointed how old the place was and needed some repairs and updating. Thank goodness I didn't need to get into my work emails while staying there. Breakfast was horrible. We came down 40 before it was over. There was nothing left except toasts and a couple of muffins. Staff at the reception was indian and it took me a long time to understand what he was saying because of his super strong indian accent i have never heard before. Carpets were very dirty in room. difficult access to upper-level rooms, small breakfast room, threat to tow my car,. they over charged me for two nights. i saw on the internet $95.98 + 12.50% tax. for two nights. this was also quoted to me when i made the reservation. they charged me $16.49 plus $95.98 plus 12.50% tax . for this reason i would not recomend this hotel,. i paid $124.47. i requested a cot. they did not have one, so my son slept on the floor. i would like my $16.49 back. very rude staff in front. TV wasn't working well at all, shaky signal for all channels, floors on stairs were uneven and seemed unstable, and it was loud all the time due to staff going up and down the elevators. Complimentary breakfast was toast and some dry muffins. The rooms were very outdated, our bed and couch had many large visible stains, there were large gaps around the exterior door, the mattress was so worn down and lumpy it would have been better to sleep on the floor if we weren't so worried about how filthy it was. When we arrived they couldn't find our reservation and wanted to see the email I received on my i-pad. Our TV didn't work, there were holes in the sheets and blanets along with hair. There was no way to enter the pool with our key, even while it was during pool hours. Our room was right near the stairs and at 11:30 pm, while I was trying to sleep, I heard one of the staff speaking loudly outside our room. I will never stay here again. Showers were backed up with poop. This hotel has no working elevator and expects guests to haul their luggage up to 4th floor rooms. The rooms are tiny and dingy and look nothing like the pictures. The door to our room was hung so poorly that an inch of light came through the door at both the top and bottom. Ac did not work...wifi did not work.. Older tv... Motels needs updating... Coffee was bad-ran out of milk... The hotel looks like its about to collapse. The jacuzzi wasn't working, and was filthy. The elevator, also not working. The WiFi, not available. The ac in the room started...and promptly buzzed out and ticked. Ac broken. The bedswere lopsided and uncomfortable. We got our money back and stayed at a hotel down the street. This hotel needs to be demolished and rebuilt. room was very out dated. The place is a dumpster. It was not clean, the sheets were however clean. There were cockroaches in the dining area, floors are dirty, rooms are superficially " cleaned" and the entire building requires a good scrub! Disgusting and a health risk!!!!!. They charged me more than the letsbookhotel.com price quoted me. What I booked online was not the room I got!! No crib available for young child and hotel staff would not give us more than 3 pillows so we could use them around the bed so our toddler would not roll off. old hotel. The cockroaches. The lack of hbo or internet which were both advertised, but not available. We got a room on the fourth floor and the elevator is not working. There was a cockroach in the room. We were told that there was nothing that they could do so we had to go buy roach killing spray for the room and leave for a few hours so the spray could work. No fruit in morning for breakfast. The shower did not work and no one would come to fix it. This hotel was one of the most dirty rooms I have ever stayed in. The furnishings were even dirty and crammed in so tight they were unusable. The bathroom walls, door filthy. The carpeting was filthy and stained. Absolutely disgusting. The whole place was shabby and in need of repair and cleaning. Lights didn't work and were not fixed while we were there despite us notifying them, Towel rail coming off the wall, could not get smoke free even though booking form does not give this option, the smell of smoke in the room did not get better after 3 days of airing it out. Constant dropping of adverts coming through the door while in the facility for food/delivery companies that did not even answer when we called. Dirty, no pillows for pull out couch available for kids, no pool, breakfast sucked (cereal, muffins, coffee), sign on office door says "we do not rent rooms by the hour!", service/desk clerk was useless and may not have had a good handle on English, Smoke detector had been removed. Carpets were filthy,the only elevator was broken, sleeper sofa had cigarette burns. When I asked for clean sheets, they had me walk down the 4 floors to "come and get it". Except location. Dirty, Run down place with incompetend staff - Stay as far away as possible.
