  I thought the Inn had everything that we needed for our week end in Newport, RI. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great. Plus, there was always a pot of fresh coffee. I would book this Inn again.   It had everything that we needed. The staff were especially helpful and informed us that the shuttle would take us to a restaurant for lunch. Since we were really tired of driving by this time and didn't want to try and find a good restaurant, this was greatly appreciated. My husband always wants extra pillows. The bed had a lightweight throw blanket. I liked that. The ice machine and vending machines were close by. The shuttle was prompt and driver was nice. We were close to the airport.

  Enjoyed the facility itself, but the staff made our stay more pleasurable. The location was within walking distance to almost all of Newport. I will go again. - I love that the hotel is unique and desn't feel like any chain hotel. I also love the history of the hotel and that it has been open since 1929.

  I like the look and the warmth of the facility. Very clean, didn't appear to crowded with guests. I interacted with several shuttle drivers who were all pleasant and very accomodating. We are a middle aged couple who just decided to take off midweek for a quick trip to the cape/Newport etc. Staff was so friendly, helpful and courteous. King Suites with ability to close off your bedroom, frig, sinks, micros washers and dryers what more could yo - Upon arrival the concierge paid attention to our personal trip plans and upgraded our 2 queen room to a king room with full 2 person jacuzzi for the same price - it totally changed the whole trip for us - we hardly ever left the room!! We were within 2 minutes walking distance to some of the best food in newport - and the beach was right across the street

Agreed that the little food area in the lobby was extremely over priced and the food was not good but the people were so friendly that it almost made up for it! - Room was large and comfortable.
