My partner and I stay at The New Otani Kaimana for 2 nights early April
2013. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When we checked in the lady was
really friendly and we were upgraded to an ocean view room free of

This boutique hotel is "just right". Not too big, not too small, not too fancy, not too plain: relaxed, casual elegance. The food is excellent. Most of the staff have been there for years. The hotel is at the far end of Waikiki Beach, next to the Nanitorium, across from Kapiolani Park and close to Diamond Head--in short, away from the madness of Waikiki but within walking distance.

Free shuttle to and from airport is great. Our room was neat and clean
and the bed was very comfortable. Liked the fact that there was a
laundry room on our floor ( we did one load of wash), and for future
reference noted the microwave, empty refrigerator and coffee maker in

We stayed for one night before continuing on with our vacation. Loved the size of the hotel, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, nice room, lovely pool area. Enjoyed walking in the area and going to Byron's. We would definately stay here again and will highly recommend it to our friends. We walked thru the Best Western but preferred your hotel, less busy and more personal and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay.

WiFi in the room enables us to keep in touch with family back in Toronto and fridge and microwave in the room which was very helpful for breakfast. We had room 1507 and had an amazing view of the canal and mountains. It was perfect to wake up to this every morning, with a very big balcony seating area to have coffee and tea. Loved my stay at the Coconut Waikiki! This hotel is such a great deal for Waikiki and the location is perfect - right on the canal so a little quieter than being right on the main strip. Decor looks just like the hotel photos - fresh and modern. Very comfy beds, was sad to leave them. All the reviews about the canal side being noisy are accurate -

I loved the cute decour, the room was well kept and clean. I know that people have made comments about the continental breakfast and so I was prepared for the worst but I honestly thought it was good. There may not be a lot of choice but it got me through the morning. Also considering that there was a kichenette in my room, I could always buy breakfast goods if I wanted more. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and I would stay here again. Close to lots of shopping and the beach. Eve

The beautiful ocean view from our room was truly spectacular. The bed in the room was extremely comfortable. The shopping mall was wonderful and had everything one could ask for in a mall shopping experience. The staff at LSI was very friendly and accomodating.
