fijn hotel! er zitten heel veel hotels in dit stukje van waikiki. het maakt dus qua lokatie niet uit in welk hotel je zit. dit was voor ons een van de goedkoopste. prima zwembad, niet groot, maar wij waren vrijwel de enige die er gebruik van maakte. service was niks op aan te merken. One long blockfrom the Duke Kahanmoku statue which is dead center on the beach. GoodMexican restaurant called La Cucaracha along the way that was semi-reasonable. - I like the small size of the hotel which makes it a bit more personal and less commercial as big hotels. The room itself is very clean although the hotel building itself is dated.

My stay at the Polynesian Plaza was wonderful. I wasn't expecting a lot as I was looking for accommodation at a reasonable price. The location was perfect, the staff was excellent and the room was fine. Especially the rooms facing Kalakaua Ave with the balcony as we got a brilliant view of the Halloween festivities on our last night their. I certainly recommend the Polynesian Plaza to anyone seeking something along the lines of what I have highlighted in this review.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location is ideal. The staff seem to genuinely love their jobs and it shows in their outstanding commitment to guest service. The rooms are whisper quiet. Our room was across from the lifts and we never heard them once. Bouquets to Travis for making me the best mai tai cocktails I've ever tasted. -

Stayed here for 1 night just to sleep after a late night flight in before moving onto the beach front. Staff were friendly and offered us a free upgrade. Room was very clean though dated. Although away from the beach it is really only a few minutes away and you can still see the ocean. Great for travelling on a budget in Honolulu. -

Ilima is a gem! The decor is absolutely vintage Hawaiian.... wood, tile, wicker, tropical prints, original local artwork, and pink all over. We had room 1507 and had an amazing view of the canal and mountains. It was perfect to wake up to this every morning, with a very big balcony seating area to have coffee and tea. Centrally located on Oahu's north shore, we couldn't be happier with our stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff, the villa are small houses/bungalows that stand a lone on well kept beautiful piece of property. They even asked I we would like them to pick up groceries for us to have when we got there for just the cost of the food ! We will be back

Great location - bus stop literally round the corner, beach a short walk away and restaurants and shops everywhere. Staff were helpful and friendly; pool fine; decent-sized lobby for meeting up in; rooms were spacious and clean.

the location was central to everything we did. The rooms were clean, staff were helpful with everything we needed. Nice and close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Even though Waikiki goes on all night and there is all kinds of night life, the hotel was quiet. Didn't hear any noise at night to disturb anyones sleep.
