  I have stayed in around 20 different yha hostels in the world and this is the best I have ever stayed in. Excellent security ( all points of entry are covered including your dormitory!! Believe me, not all hostels offer that). So if you are looking for company, you are bound to - Located a short walk to upper broadway which is jam packed full of everything u could ask for. Everything !! short walk to the #1 subway line which takes u all the way down to battery park. There are housing projects directly behind thebuilding, but there was no trouble at all & that just added to the whole atmosphere of staying in ny. They put on several events on each day & night so u get to meet a lot of other travelers & explore in a group. There is an outlet & little shelf

  I was plesantly suprised when we arrived at this hotel. I had expected the on-line pictures to have offered more than would be delivered. Compared to many other places we've stayed over the years, this place is wonderful. I already recommended it to my sister. It appears to me that Mr Salvatore has decided to give his guests a wonderful treat ... wat mensen zeggen » for their stay. Our room was lovely; tastefully and luxuriously decorated. We had a lovely evening meal at the hotel bar, which was catered from the - The Decor is totally pleasing & suitable to our taste. Place is clean & well maintained. We were celebrating our 39th Wedding Anniversary & having stayed at Salvatore's made it a memorable one. Next time, we will try getting the Package deal with includes dinner for two. We often go to Buffalo from Ontario, Canada to do shopping & would like to stay at Salvatore's if we are staying overnight. The overall experience was very good.   The woman who was at the desk was outstanding. Helpful, pleasant. We loved everything about the Comfort Inn here. Form the moment we checked in to the time to depart we were treated like welcomed guests!   I had stayed here before and they had mixed up our reservation. This time I emailed the General Manager directly to ensure that we got the room we had booked. My daughter and son-in-law also booked. The gm ensured me that not only would we get the rooms we booked, we would get adjoining rooms - which we did. (Not as luxurious as other newer hotels in the area, but it was cheaper and I was satisfied.) - we were really impressed as most Ramada's we have stayed were really lacking in all areas.
