  Great Staff. I mean just the nicest front desk personnel. Not a luxury hotel but so clean, and great for business travel. Also, free internet computers available in the business center. Very good American buffet breakfast (bacon, sausage, real scrambled eggs... All part of the price of the room!). If I ever go to Albany again, and I hope I do not ... wat mensen zeggen » have to :), this is the place to stay. Even a short one block walk to the #1 bus that takes you down the main drag to downtown. It even takes you the - The staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast hot/cold buffet was good quality and good choice. The rooms with single cup brew was hygenic and convinient. Having a fridge and microwave was a plus even though the stay was not long enough to need it.

  Absolutely everything! My husband had cataract surgery very early in the morning of 10/8/13 in Liverpool. As we live several hours away in Massena, NY, we decided to get a room for the night as he had a follow-up appointment the following morning.   Nice medium sized hotel in a good location. This hotel has about 50 rooms on 7 floors, a small breakfast area on the ground floor and fitness room with sauna and steam room in the basement. It is about a 5 minute walk from wall street subway station and 5 to 10 minutes from the south street seaport and the Staten island ferry (a great free way to ... wat mensen zeggen » see the statue of liberty). Its worth going for a wander near by as there are quite a few restaurants, coffee shops and delis not to far away. We had - The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the hotel was beautiful. Conveniently located right near the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge, it was a short walk to multiple Subway stations, the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Pace University, the 9/11 Memorial, and Battery Park. Neighbourhood is quite ethnic..but safe as we walked back fro the subway late at night and went shopping to try to buy food to cook..which was impossible ... wat mensen zeggen » unless you have ethnic/Asian tastes. Most of the European restaurants are at the other end of Brooklyn near the bridge. Though there is a McDonalds ab - We were really impressed with the hotel. Surprisingly nice for such a great price. It isn't in manhattan but it is a 10 min walk between 2 metro stations and fast to get to everywhere. The area itself was multi cultural which means great food!
