  We liked the price and that the rooms were spacious. We loved having two balconies and that the room had dishes and a kitchen if we wanted to cook. The location was close to the strip and trolley stop right in front of the door. There was also a convenient ABC in the lobby. Not a given anymore. The staff was very helpful and competent. No complaints about anything.

  The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the air conditioner in my room making clunking sounds when turned off and I was all prepared to demand a new room, however, after reporting it to the front desk it was fixed by maintenance by the time I returned in the afternoon. Room was massive and had a bit to sit outside although it was just overlooking the street outside. Good watermelon water at reception on a hot day! Close enough to the beach without paying beachfront prices.

  Stayed here for 1 night just to sleep after a late night flight in before moving onto the beach front. Staff were friendly and offered us a free upgrade. Room was very clean though dated. Although away from the beach it is really only a few minutes away and you can still see the ocean. I was told that I was upgraded (not sure if that was really the case). The room was of good size and the view was nice. There is LAN internet in the room with high speed. Also there is a cafe and a shop right in the building, which is very handy.

The rooms were clean [very important], we had a corner room that had 2 ac units, and the there were multiple electrical outlets for charging our various electronic devices.   we were originally concerned about previous reviews of no air conditioning and noisy roosters. the only night that was uncomfortable was the first nite. we cranked up the fans and made sure everything was open and it was fine after that.   The Seaside Hotel was perfect for my stay in Waikiki. The room may be small for some, but the size was fine for me. The pictures are true to what you get. There are not a whole lot of extra amenities but I was only there to shower and sleep. The bed was comfortable and thank goodness for the a/c during the humid week I was there. Yes, there's not a whole lot but I was out all day - I am so glad I booked this hotel. After reading up on reviews for other hotels for hours I decided to book with Shoreline. The hotel was in a great central location, so close to the beach and shops, hotel staff were so friendly and pointed us in the right direction for activities / tour outlets that were much cheaper than others. Rooms were big enough for what we paid for and very very clean! I would definitely stay here again if I travel back to Hawaii and recommend it to anyone staying in Hon

  We stayed for 3 nights in February and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Terrie (the owner) is very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the local area she provided us with lots of information about what to see and do - and there is quite a lot, stuff you don't read about in the regular travel books. Everywhere was very clean and the accommodation is in a very peaceful lo - It´s perfect! Our suite was comfortable, clean and cozy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! (Fresh papaya with other fruits and yoghurt, and freshly baked bread or muffins). Location is absolutely wonderful, very tropical. Wifi worked great. Pahoa is a good base to start many excursions, even though it´s on the rainy side of the island.
