  We did not book directly through Best Western so when we arrived, we discovered our room did not have a balcony but a patio instead. Told the management of our displeasure and they moved us to the 3rd floor the next day. We appreciated the accomodation. Once moved, we were very happy to have a private balcony.   We liked nearly everything about Mackinaw Beach and Bay Resort. A morning breakfast is provided, and it's good, but it needs a little variety. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great and the view is amazing from your own private balcony.
