  The staff were very helpful and friendly especially the man in the little convenience shop - he was wonderful. The Hotel is not situated in the heart of Hollywood and is not the best area, but we found it safe and easy to catch public transport into Hollywood Boulevard and Santa Monica Beach. - central location

  There is incredible value to be found at The Trylon: clean rooms with everything that you need: a nice bed with a great mattress that allows you to have a good nights sleep, all the amenities that you want: a bathroom with enough space, a tv, a hairdryer; there is even an ironing board and a clothes iron. When we arrived, the place smelled lovely, fresh and clean, a welcome change from LA's horrible traffic-induced stink. Wireless worked flawlessly and was surprisingly fast as well. Make sure you plan about 60-90mins of transfer time between lax and this place using the supershuttle

  This is a fun hotel. There was a happy hour with a free drink and chips, which encouraged socialising among the guests. Our family suite was big, which made it comfortable travelling with our two-year old. Proximity to the airport was helpful, given our early flight. However we stayed three nights in all, and enjoyed our time.   It's a typical Hilton. We stayed here for the last two nights of our two week holiday as it was very close to the lax and return car hire depot. Check-in was easy and fast, we used the self parking option, the car park seemed to always be quite full, we had to drive down to level 5 or 6 every day, this option was $25 a day. The room was clean and comfortable. I would certainly recommend your hotel to others.

  Everything was great. Don't let the exterior fool you. Very welcoming, from the staff to the environment. Beach is literally steps away. It is lively all around. Most people would complain about the noise, but you have to take into account that that's just the Venice/Santa Monica environment. Fun and the sun is at your doorstep. We asked for a beach/ocean view and were upgraded upon - Brilliant, friendly & helpfull staff. It's right on the famous boardwalk next to plenty of restaurants & a small convenience store. It's secure, with a good safety deposit box in the room & I felt safe despite the colour characters going in & out at night. My room was also impeccably clean, as was the whole hotel. - The staff at this hotel were sensational! We got to check-in early, had our bags carried up 3 flights of stairs (because the elevator was on the fritz) and got to check-out late so we could sleep off our jet-lag. Plus they have one of the best lobby spaces I've ever seen and there's rooftop access to watch the sunset over Venice.

  I love this place. About 7 yrs., I was in the LA area for business and my employer put me up at HA (Hotel Angeleno). Since that time, I have stayed several times at HA. The staff has changed over the years, however the service is the same know as seven years ago-GREAT!. I'm not a celebrity, millionaire, CEO or some rich spoiled brat. Again, I love HA a - Excellent view from the room, the restaurant on the 17th floor was really good. Excellent viewes with great food and a very good selection of drinks. The pool is small but nice with a small gym but efficient. Ideal for getting to Sunset Boulevard and also Santa Monica. Free parking also with Valet with your stay.
