When we arrived, the place smelled lovely, fresh and clean, a welcome change from LA's horrible traffic-induced stink. Wireless worked flawlessly and was surprisingly fast as well. Our family suite was big, which made it comfortable travelling with our two-year old. Proximity to the airport was helpful, given our early flight.   It's a typical Hilton. We stayed here for the last two nights of our two week holiday as it was very close to the lax and return car hire depot. Check-in was easy and fast, we used the self parking option, the car park seemed to always be quite full, we had to drive down to level 5 or 6 every day, this option was $25 a day. We asked for a beach/ocean view and were upgraded upon - Brilliant, friendly & helpfull staff. It's right on the famous boardwalk next to plenty of restaurants & a small convenience store. My room was also impeccably clean, as was the whole hotel. - The staff at this hotel were sensational! We got to check-in early, had our bags carried up 3 flights of stairs (because the elevator was on the fritz) and got to check-out late so we could sleep off our jet-lag. Plus they have one of the best lobby spaces I've ever seen and there's rooftop access to watch the sunset over Venice.
