For a best western it has so much character, very nice design, nice to look at and rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained.
Nice pool area and fitness suite.
Lovely location in the Old Town, within a minutes walk of local restaurants and bars.
Easy to get to gaslight quarter on the trolley system.

The BW Hacienda is our main reason for visiting San Diego. This hotel is very comfortable, well-appointed, clean and has excellent beds! The Hampton line of hotels are consistently excellent and the staff was wonderful as well...even calling to ensure everything was fine and recommended an excellent local pizza and pasta restaurant with free delivery for dinner when they found out we were just going to stay in for the night.

The staff was amazing and very helpful with transportation and anything else you asked them. They go above and beyond and always have a smile on their face. Rooms were very nice, great breakfast buffets, good dinners and drinks. Albert (2) were very nice and I wish I would have gotten the front desk persons names as they were all wonderful! -

The following day, the day shift person came and replaced the temp gauge, and it worked just fine. I would stay there again.

Lekker groot zwembad vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Eten was goedin het restaurant. Ontbijd wat minder, maar dat is in heel Amerikabehalve Subway dan. Als je een auto tot je beschikking heb dan is ditzeker een aanrader. - een goed zwembad en jacuzzi, prettig personeel, behulpzaam. dichtbij het convention centrum en veel goedkoper.
