  I was attending a classic movie festival and felt safe walking in the neighbourhood alone, even at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing information and printing my boarding passes. The location was superb - close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, theatres and shopping.   An absolute gem of a Hotel, would definitely stay there again. From the moment we arrived the staff went out of their way to help us. Even though check in wasn't until 3 they found us a room and allowed us to check in at 12. The rooms were nothing fancy but perfect for what we wanted - clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delightful - whilst it was not a si - The room was very clean and comfortable. The ac was great, but we ended up turning it off and just using the fan. We were able to leave our stuff in the lobby for hours and nothing happened to it (we couldn't check in early). No bed bugs! It was extremely close to Hollywood Blvd, so we were able to walk there and back no problem. It is close to public transportation. We stayed for two nights, didn't spend much time in the room, but when we came back to it after a long day it was very comfortabl

  This very low profile hotel is the best kept secret in hollywood. At first sight it doesn't seem to be the best choice. Yet in my opinion it is. I've been around la for a while in the various neighborhoods and in many different hotels. And the "Super 8" without the slightest of doubt was the best offer quality-pricewise.
