  I was attending a classic movie festival and felt safe walking in the neighbourhood alone, even at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing information and printing my boarding passes. The location was superb - close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, theatres and shopping.   An absolute gem of a Hotel, would definitely stay there again. From the moment we arrived the staff went out of their way to help us. Even though check in wasn't until 3 they found us a room and allowed us to check in at 12. The rooms were nothing fancy but perfect for what we wanted - clean and comfortable.   This very low profile hotel is the best kept secret in hollywood. At first sight it doesn't seem to be the best choice. Yet in my opinion it is. I've been around la for a while in the various neighborhoods and in many different hotels. And the "Super 8" without the slightest of doubt was the best offer quality-pricewise. Wifi is strong en good enough to watch Netflix ;-) Breakfast is ok, enough choise and it's free!

The maids made sure our rooms were refreshed each day as we were there for a week.
