This hotel was so unique! The rooms are converted units in a brownstone so you get to feel like you're living in the city while you're there. Our room was great and eclectic--bright wall colors, bay window, hardwood floors, stained glass artwork, etc. Crown Heights is also a great neighborhood. Felt like having a warm and comfotable city apt, complete with washer and dryer. Though we never saw any staff, they left signage and email instructions that told us how to get in, where to go and how to stay secure in the city environment. Street parking but they responded with parking alternatives when asked.

This is a good alternative to staying in downtown Manhattan. Coming from a small UK town the area was a bit of a culture shock.
Spacious appartment with everything you need for a short stay. Subway stop just around the corner so easy to get downtown in 15 to 20 mins. You can also walk to the Guggenheim in a similar time.
A couple of nice restaurants nearby and a supermarket if you want to eat in.
