Wat mensen zeggen

It's not easy finding reasonably affordable yet good-quality self-catering accommodation in New York City, but this was perfect! As a young woman travelling by myself, I felt I had to keep my wits about me on the street, but everything was fine (just be sure to use commonsense). The train station is very close, and the local grocery store is only around the block. It's not the wealthiest area, but it's obviously a family area. I was immensely impressed with the chap who carried my heavy bag up .
alle beoordelingen This is a good alternative to staying in downtown Manhattan. Coming from a small UK town the area was a bit of a culture shock. Spacious appartment with everything you need for a short stay. Subway stop just around the corner so easy to get downtown in 15 to 20 mins. You can also walk to the Guggenheim in a similar time. A couple of nice restaurants nearby and a supermarket if you want to eat in. I really enjoyed the apartment style suit. It was in a great location in East Harlem, and close to the subway! The room included breakfast and was a decent size for a group of four friends. Apartment was spacious and the neighborhood is up and coming. We were only in town for the marathon and we knew NYC quite well so being far from Midtown was not an issue. Apartment was great.Nearby to subway and supermarket. Big and clean room. From the neighborhood's many delicious restaurants to the easy public transportation options, the suites are the place to stay... we felt very safe and comfortable in our suite AND we could even cook if we wanted to! everything was made available in the kitchen from pots and pans to a wonderful breakfast basket filled every day with mini cereals and oatmeal packets, we even got milk AND OJ!!! delightful and a very good deal in NYC. we are soooo coming back to stay. Very comfortable apartment (although we pretty much only slept here because we were too busy exploring NYC). I thought the breakfast was fine. Owner and cleaner were very friendly and helpful. Not far to museums and Central Park. Subway very nearby. Lovely apartment good kitchen facilities bus at doorstep and subway near by. Friendly neighbourhood Reasonable food shopping. The breakfast provided didn't interest me, but I was perfectly happy to cook for myself. I had to be a bit patient waiting for someone to get to the door to let me in - I couldn't hear a reply on the door intercom, so I wasn't sure if anyone was home - but everything was fine. Only complaint was that the room service did not seem to work well. We were not supplied with milk top ups for breakfast and the room was not made up on Sunday. $40 extra fee for checking-in past 7PM - we were only 35 minutes late. It was far away from city center. The area isn't the nicest, but we didn't really feel unsafe. You were never alone on the short walk home from the nearby subway station and the road was well lit. The lack of a reception (we didn't have telephones) is a problem. Even just signs saying to go talk to the (very busy) guy in the hardware store downstairs would have helped. Extra charge for Sunday check in Traffic noise till midnight -few neighbourhood eating spots other than fast food.
