  we could take our dog which was great as we were there for walking peak district. it was very close to the town and lovely park. staff were friendly,bar wasnt over priced and the breakfast was excellent. rooms were little dated but very clean at the price we thought very good value for money. - Friendly, Family run, Excellent Food, attentive obli... wat mensen zeggen » ging staff, nice quiet but fairly central situation at end of lovely town Park, ideal for conferences at Pavilion/Opera House about 700mtrs away.

  Staff were efficient and friendly. Our room, overlooking the Pavilion Gardens, was clean, comfortable, warm and well fitted out. Location is excellent. We ate in the dining room and the wine bar - both good.
