  It was a beautiful resort, with wooden furniture everywhere. There wasnt any TV in the room but it more than made up with the spacious room, clean wooden furniture and bright bathroom. We took a one-hour island cruise on the lake. If you have time, I'd suggest you take the half day trekking trip, which promises more things to see. The day drive out was ho-hum cos not - The room was excellent, the housemaids were extremely helpful, but the reception staff leave a lot to be desired, they were unfriendly to the point of rudeness. A faulty refrigerator was fixed immediately. Parking was good.

  Their service was excellent. I had water leaking infront of the toilet and as soon as I informed the Manager on Duty, this problem was immediately attended to and within fifteen minutes the problem resolved. Fantastic. The hotel also provided me with the type of room that I requested. Lots of food option within two minutes walk (go left to the hotel for upscale dining along the river and right for cheap local food). - I liked the breakfast served and also the view from the room and the staff is friendly.   Het uitzicht - the place very nice and calm and relax. The view and the beach activitise. also the garden very nice - Good service by reception staff. We had booked 4 hotel rooms but due to some reason was given 2 villas (interconnected). Also we were given comlimentary 2 lunches + 2 dinners for 8 adults!

  The Hotel and Restaurant Managers were excellent and could not do enough to help us and make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The restaurant was spotless at all times and the food was of high standard.   The best thing about this hotel is the beach - so long and so beautiful. Plus it is fully isolated from outsiders and is more than enough to handle the hotel guests even if it is 200% full! The beach is about 1 km long!!! Than you have beautiful waves, jungles on both sides of the lagoon, good facilities, hornbill birds, monkeys, wild nature. Additionally there is a cheap flight from KL and the plan lands 10 min - The rooms had orange coloured Roman blinds, adorning the windows that overlook the pool and the sea. The staff were very friendly and the beach was clean. It's the only 4 star resort at that part of Pangkor. There were peacocks roaming about, couple of monkeys and many hornbill birds. They even had a mini funfair after dinner which I thought was a really nice touch. Breakfast was of good variety although they could pay more attention to hygiene. We had breakfast alfresco, overlooking the sea. B
